Within this application, the teacher will find 1 main section of study which consists of three stages of study. These stages have a study time of 2 hours with 4 practice of the acquired knowledge. The first stage deals with four lessons related to an introduction of technological competences: introduction to ICT skills, ICT previous knowledge test, ICT tools and socialization. Module 2 focuses on presenting ICT tools and their alternatives for use in the classroom. Module 3 is developed in terms of pedagogical competence. This module addresses topics such as learning tools and learning strategies and the application of suggested and viewed tools.

REQUIREMENTS

Teachers who take this course have to:

  • possess B2 level of English proficiency.

  • have a personal Facebook account.

  • have a personal Twitter account.

  • own a personal smartphone.

MAIN OBJECTIVE

Strengthen the ICT skills of INVIL teachers at UNAD, due to the need to have teachers trained in the use of ICTs in order to more effectively support student processes.

OBJECTIVES PER STAGE
STAGE 1

To know the ICT competences related to the technological area in order to establish a starting point that allows tutors to be aware of their gaps and their abilities regarding the use of these in the classroom.

STAGE 2

Identify the different ICT tools in the educational environment

STAGE 3

Put into practice technological tools and pedagogical approaches to innovate in their educational practice in teaching English.
